Synopsis
Ricardo and Painting is Barbet Schroeder’s portrait of his friend, the painter Ricardo Cavallo, who has devoted his life to painting. From Buenos Aires to Finistère, via Paris and Peru, this film is an invitation to delve into the history of painting, but also to discover the life of an extraordinary man who, with simplicity and humility, has always been totally committed, even passing on his passion to the children of his village.
